Biobike V2 software Quick start
Valid for Version 2.0.0.1, build 110525-1100
The software
may be downloaded and installed from:
http://biobike.us/software/BiobikeV2/setup.exe
The sample session
file may be downloaded from
http://biobike.us/software/BiobikeV2/TAsample.zip
This Software requires the Torque Unit for full functionality. Without it only the bike frame can be adjusted but the sample session file which can be downloaded from the link above will allow you load in a session and use most of the softwares functionality.
Download and "Run" the setup file. If "Run" is not an option you may save the above link to your computer (Figure 1). This may be saved anywhere (eg. your downloads folder or to the desktop)

If you "saved" the setup file, go to the folder where it's located (Figure 2) and Double clicking on the "setup" file will start the installation.

The Main control window will now be shown (Figure 8) and if necessary the program maybe be setup from the "System Setup" menu option

The appropriate COM port may be selected from the list (Figure 9). This value can be found in the Bluetooth properties where you added the Biobike as a device, (Note: actual image depends on version of windows). (Figure 10)
(If the torque unit isnt present with the bike only the main unit can be connected.)

Normally when you run the software the program will automatically connect to the correct the bike. But if this fails a connection can be made from the system setup menu. (Figure 11) Once connected, the status bar at the bottom of the window will show "connected", SRM IDs will be shown in the status bar and the connection light (bottom right hand corner) will be flashing.

At the initial setup the program will automatically include nominal value for the torque calibration to allow the program to operate correctly. As each bike is slightly different a torque calibration must completed before any sessions take place to achieve accurate readings. The torque calibration can be found in the System setup menu. (Figure 12) This process only needs to be completed once for each bike.

Figure 12: Torque Calibration.(Shows the nominal values used at the initial start-up of the program)
Click the calibrate button to start the calibration routine (Figure 12). (The torque unit must be connected before this process starts). The first window will pop indicating to the user to enter the SRM slopes (These values can be found on a label on the inner side of the SRM unit) and the sprocket tooth count. (Figure 13) Click next once the information is entered.

Figure 13: Start of the torque calibration process
Once the next button is clicked follow the instructions given to you by the torque calibration window. (Figure 14) Click next once the information is entered.

Figure 14: Step 2 in the torque calibration routine
The program will now start calculating the values. Once complete the newly acquired values will show up in the system setup menu under torque calibration tab.
You are now ready to "Start recording" data from the bike.
